This is another of the wedding pictures. This was taken at some old ruins beside the river, across from where the reception was held. The windows they are standing in are part of a single wall that remains standing, but because of the trees & buildings in the background I decided to crop it.

For this I walked to the other side of the river & setup with my long zoom lens. The river is approximately 300 feet across & we used walkie-talkies so I could let them know when to be ready. It was different & fun, & I like the way it turned out.

the composition is fantastic; stairs behind, bushes, and of course where the people are placed, but especially the different poses

I think any married couple would be thrilled to have something like this as a wedding photograph. This just oozes professionalism. As this has obviously taken a lot of consideration, I need not comment on the merits of the composition. Instead I will just say "beautiful" and depart.....

Ahhh- you know I saw this pic a while ago and I could have sworn I commented on it. I can't tell you how much I like this picture! It's so original and different- I wish I could get pictures there. I like how there is a space between the bridal party and the newlyweds. The way they are all posed differently gives you a flow of motion. I really wish I could get this shot on my own wedding day- I would blow that baby up and show it off :) Wonderful shot Jody- I love it...
